My blog is called Whimsy Barn.

Well, I have started my Etsy Shop ...once again. You can find it under KG Art Studio. I am selling supplies from my store front shop, The Crafters Canvas. I am interested in having an online business, this should allow more freedom in my cRaZY schedule. Also really inspired to sew right now, eventhough I have the hardest time reading following a pattern.  I don't understand, I did just fine in Home Ec, but NOW...no way, it's almost foreign to me....so I am just going with the flow and we'll see how it turns out. I am working on a couple of funky tops with different fabrics and doillies sew on. I'll post pix soon.

Oh yeah, I'm also going to try to be dillegent about blogging. I always have something to say :0)

Had a wonderful turnout at the Meet n' Greet Sat. Everyone was great! Got lots of input on the painting, lots of laughs. Thanks to Melanie for opening the doors for me to set-up and use the cafe as my studio for a while. Lunch was fantastic.

Now I'm working on the other chicks in the seasons series. Getting new paintings ready for the exhibit at Stir Fry.

It's COLD outside!!! We got snow today, not the wonderful, featherly lite, falling kind, but the wet and icy type. It got slick, quickly.  Spent most of the day returning Christmas things that didn't work out and got caught out in the slick stuff.  Thought I was going to wreck once, slid on black ice. People don't realize that those of us in pick-up trucks slide easily, so people were  zooming around like the roads were just wet, except one  who must have been annoyed that traffic was so slow and as he went to gas it and pass he almost lost control and nearly slid right into me....ughh. That slowed him down in a hurry. He probably had to change pants when he got home ;0).

Happy New Year. It's cold outside, fire in the fireplace, blackeyed peas and collard greens are cooking.....smells goood! Excited about the New Year. Mitch is about to put on a pork loin, yum! Hung some of the "chickens" at Brown Cup last night. Wondering if I'm going to get myself back in the gym, i'm such a procrastinator, ughhhh. Taking the tree down today and doing my new years day cleaning. We had the most beautiful Christmas tree this year and the fragrance was oh-so  wonderful.
